Teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Goryeo-Khitan War” (literal title) starring Choi Soo-Jong & Kim Dong-Joon. The drama series is set in the 17th century and follows Commander Gang Gam-Chan (Choi Soo-Jong) and King Hyeonjong (Kim Dong-Joon). The teaser trailer has Choi Soo-Jong stating at the 25 second mark “We are sure to win.”

Kim Dong-Joon cast in KBS2 drama “Goryeo-Khitan War”

Kim Dong-Joon is cast in KBS2 drama series “Goryeo-Khitan War” co-starring Choi Soo-Jong. The historical drama series is set during the Goryeo dynasty. Kim Dong-Joon will play King Hyeonjong, who was the 8th ruler of Goryeo and lived from 992 – 1031. At that time, Goryeo was under constant attack from Khitan. King Hyeonjong became the king at the age of 19 and he tried to unite the people of Goryeo to fight against the Khitan. His political teacher at the time was Gang Gam-Chan (Choi Soo-Jong), who was also the military commander of the Goryeo army.

Ong Seong-Wu, Shin Ye-Eun, & Kim Dong-Joon cast in JTBC drama series “Number of Cases”

Ong Seong-Wu and Shin Ye-Eun are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Number of Cases” (literal title). Actor Kim Dong-Joon is also cast for a major supporting character role. The literal title was previously “Number of Cases to Go From Friends to Lovers,” but shortened to just “Number of Cases.”

For the drama series Ong Seong-Wu will play Lee Soo. He is a photographer, competent at his job and has a handsome appearance. He is also confident and selfish when it comes to love. Shin Ye-Eun will play Kyung Woo-Yeon. She is a calligrapher. She becomes completely absorbed in anything she takes an interest in. She has held feelings for Lee Soo for the past 10 years. Kim Dong-Joon will play On Joon-Soo. He is the CEO of Eunyoo Publishing Company. He falls in love with Kyung Woo-Yeon.

“Number of Cases” will air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Ep.1 trailer for JTBC drama series “Chief of Staff 2”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “Chief of Staff 2” starring Lee Jung-Jae and Shin Min-A. In season 2, Lee Jung-Jae as Jang Tae-Joon has now moved from chief of staff to a lawmaker. Around the 24 second mark of the ep.1 trailer, Lee Jung-Jae’s voice appears and he states “Let’s start now. I will give back as much as I have.” Meanwhile, above is a group poster of the drama series with Lee Jung-Jae, Shin Min-A, Lee Elijah, Kim Dong-Joon, Kim Kap-Soo, Jung Woong-In, Jeong Man-Sik, Park Hyo-Joo, and Jo Bok-Rae. First two teaser trailers added for JTBC drama series “Chief of Staff 2” starring Lee Jung-Jae and Shin Min-A. The drama series is a sequel to JTBC’s “Chief of Staff” which aired earlier this year. Set to return and reprise their respective character’s from season 1 are Lee Jung-Jae, Shin Min-A, Lee Elijah, Kim Dong-Joon, Kim Kap-Soo and Jung Woong-In. Also cast to play new characters are Jeong Man-Sik, Park Hyo-Joo and Jo Bok-Rae. Teaser trailer #1 briefly introduces all 8 of these actors and teaser trailer #2 focuses on Lee Jung-Jae as Jang Tae-Joon. In season 2, Jang Tae-Joon (Lee Jung-Jae) returns as a lawmaker.

6 minute highlight trailer added for upcoming JTBC drama series “Aide” (English title) starring Lee Jung-Jae and Shin Min-A. Meanwhile, JTBC released these still images of Lee Jung-Jae, Shin Min-A, Lee Elijah and Kim Dong-Joon with personal comments by each of the performers. Lee Jung-Jae stated “You can have fun and feel sympathy from watching the various characters and their desires.” Shin Min-A stated “The drama series contains stories of people in politics who live fiercely to fulfill their desires.” Lee Elijah stated “The drama series shows stories of aides who you haven’t seen before in any other drama series. In this drama series, the aides struggle to protect people’s lives and struggle to survive.” Lastly, Kim Dong-Joon’s states “The drama series contains the story of aides who have various charms and personalities.”

Main cast members including Lee Jung-Jae, Shin Min-A, Kim Dong-Joon, Lee Elijah, Jung Jin-Young, Kim Kap-Soo, Jung Woong-In and Lim Won-Hee attended. The drama series is set in the political world and has Lee Jung-Jae playing a chief aide to a 4-time lawmaker. Shin Min-A will play first year lawmaker Kang Sun-Young.

Kim Dong-Joon cast in tvN drama series “About Time”

Kim Dong-Joon (‘ZE:A’) is cast for a major supporting character role in tvN drama series “About Time.” Kim Dong-Joon will play the character of Jo Jae-Yoo which Lee Seo-Won was originally cast for. Lee Seo-Won was recently dropped from the drama series due to a sexual harassment incident that became public recently. On April 8, 2018, Lee Seo-Won was alleged to have been drunk and he then tried to touch an unnamed actress, but his advances was rebuffed. Lee Seo-Won persisted in trying to touch the actress and eventually the actress called her boyfriend for help. Lee Seo-Won is then alleged to have threatened the actress. Staff from “About Time” learned about the incident on May 16, 2018 and made the decision to drop Lee Seo-Won from the drama series that day.

Kim Dong-Joon will re-film all scenes already filmed with Lee Seo-Won. The character of Jo Jae-Yoo works as a musical director. “About Time” will first air as originally planned on May 21, 2018 in South Korea.
