Mysterious man Enishi Yukishiro (Mackenyu Arata) appears in front of Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh). Meanwhile, the theme song for the movie has been revealed as “Renegades” by rock band One OK Rock. The theme song appears in the trailer.

Kasumi Arimura is cast in movies “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” starring Takeru Satoh and Emi Takei. For the two films, Kasumi Arimura will play Tomoe Yukishiro. Her character is the wife of Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh). She was the only person he loved and she is related to how Kenshin Himura got the “Jujishou” mark on his face. Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming films “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” starring Takeru Satoh. Both of these two films comprise “Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter.” Filming for the two movies took place for over 7 months and more than 43 locations around Japan including Kyoto, Nara, Shiga, Mie, Hyogo, Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Tochigi, Saitama, and Shizuoka. The story line for the two final films has Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh) going up against mysterious weapons dealer Enishi and the secret of Kenshin Himura’s “Jujishou” is revealed. In addition, first group of supporting cast members has been revealed for the films. They are Emi Takei, Munetaka Aoki, Yu Aoi, and Riku Ohnishi. Riku Ohnishi will play a new character Yahiko Myojin, while the other three will reprise their respective characters from prior films.

Dean Fujioka and Emi Takei are cast in new NTV drama series “Ima kara Anata wo Kyouhaku Shimasu.” The drama series is based on 2016 light novel “Ima kara Anata wo Kyouhaku Shimasu” by Namiya Fujiishi. In the drama series, Dean Fujioka will play Kanji Senkawa. He takes on cases that the police or private investigators are unable to handle. Emi Takei will play wealthy college student Mio Kanesaka. These two characters will work together on cases ranging from voice phishing to kidnappings.

Emi Takei is cast in upcoming TV Asahi drama series “Black Leather Notebook” (literal title). The drama series is based on 1983 novel “Kurokawa no Techo” by Seicho Matsumoto. TV Asahi previously adapted the novel into 2004 drama series “Black Leather Notebook” starring Ryoko Yonekura. In drama series “Black Leather Notebook,” Emi Takei will play main character Motoko Haraguchi. Her character embezzles 180 million yen from a bank to open a nightclub in Ginza.

In addition, Haruka Kinami is cast to play a major supporting character role. In the drama series, Haruka Kinami will play Yoriko Tamamura. Her character is the daughter of a CEO in charge of running a large company. In ep.1, a murder case takes place at a mountain retreat owned by Yoriko Tamamura’s father.
