Park Shin-Hye & Choi Tae-Joon to marry January 22nd

According to their respective management companies, Park Shin-Hye and Choi Tae-Joon will hold a private wedding ceremony on January 22, 2022 in Seoul. Park Shin-Hye is currently pregnant with their first child. Their relationship was first announced on March 7, 2018, when the couple went public with their relationship. They stated their relationship developed romantically from late 2017. Congratulations to the couple.

Teaser poster & ep.1 air date for drama “So I Married an Anti-Fan”

Teaser poster and April 30, 2021 ep.1 air date set for drama series “So I Married an Anti-Fan” starring Choi Tae-Joon, Sooyoung, & Chansung. The drama series will stream through online video platforms Naver TV, iQIYI, and Viki in about 190 countries. The drama series is a romantic-comedy about K-pop star Hoo-Joon (Choi Tae-Joon) and magazine reporter Geun-Young (Sooyoung). Geun-Young is labelled as Hoo-Joon’s anti-fan.

First script reading for drama series “So I Married an Anti-Fan”

First script reading for upcoming drama series “So I Married an Anti-Fan” took place August 20, 2018. At the first script reading, main cast members Choi Tae-Joon, Sooyoung (‘Girls’ Generation’), Chansung (‘2PM’ member), Han Ji-An and Kim Min-Kyu all attended. Before the first script reading began, Director Kang Cheol-Woo stated “Preparation for the drama series took longer than other drama series. I think that was to let me work with such good actors and actresses. Let’s do our best to make a fun drama series.”

Meanwhile,  Warner Brothers Korea takes part in the production as an investor and co-producer for the drama series. Exact broadcasting station and air dates have yet to be disclosed. Tentatively, the drama series will air in about 160 countries around the same time as it does in South Korea.

Choi Tae-Joon and Sooyoung cast in drama series “So I Married an Anti-Fan”

Choi Tae-Joon and Sooyoung (‘Girls’ Generation’) are cast in new drama series “So I Married an Anti-Fan” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2010 novel “Geuraeseo Naneun Antipaengwa Gyeolhonhaedda” by Kim Eun-Jung and directed by Kang Cheol-Woo. The drama series will be half pre-production. For “So I Married an Anti-Fan,” Choi Tae-Joon will play a top star with a bad public image and Sooyoung will play a former reporter who believes she lost her job because of the top star. They both decide to take part in a reality show revolving around a top star and his anti-fan.

Exact air dates or airing network for “So I Married an Anti-Fan” has yet to be decided.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum,” starring Namgung Min and Hwang Jung-Eum, took place April 2, 2018 at at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. Main cast members including Namgung Min, Hwang Jung-Eum, Choi Tae-JoonOh Yoon-Ah, Nam Kyoung-Eub and Jo Dal-Hwan all attended. After the first script reading, Namgung Min stated “I will work very hard and I will also do my best to have good results.” Hwang Jung-Eum followed up with “I am merry and happy, like going on a picnic. To get other people to feel that way, I will work hard.”

“Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum” will first air May, 2018 in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Suspicious Partner”

First script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “Suspicious Partner,” starring Ji Chang-Wook & Nam Ji-Hyun, took place April 4, 2017 at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. At the first script reading main cast members including Ji Chang-Wook, Nam Ji-Hyun, Choi Tae-Joon, Nara (‘Hellovenus’) and Chansung (‘2PM’) all attended. At the first script reading Ji Chang-Wook read the lines of No Ji-Wook. His character isn’t very kind, but sexy. Nam Ji-Hyun read the lines of Eun Bong-Hee. Her character is bright.
