Character posters and teasers for tvN drama series “Pied Piper”

Here’s 3 character posters of Shin Ha-Kyun, Yu Jun-Sang and Jo Yoon-Hee in upcoming tvN drama series “Pied Piper.” Each of the posters has a caption describing the characters: Joo Sung-Chan (Shin Ha-Kyun) as genius negotiator, Son Hee-Sung (Yu Jun-Sang) as a popular and ambitious anchor and Yeo Myung-Ha (Jo Yoon-Hee) as a police lieutenant with a warm heart.

Teaser posters for KBS2 drama series “Five Enough”

Here’s teaser posters for upcoming KBS2 weekend drama series “Five Enough” starring  Ahn Jae-WookSo Yu-Jin. Shooting for the teaser posters took place January 19, 2016 at a photo studio in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. Drama series “Five Enough” will tell the story of two single parents who meet at their workplace which is a fashion company.

“Five Enough” first airs February 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Kim Min-Jun cast in KBS2 drama series “Babysitter”

Actor Kim Min-Jun is now cast for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Babysitter.” In the drama series, Kim Min-Jun will play Lee Sang-Won. His character is the wealthy husband. Meanwhile, actress Cho Yeo-Jeong has been offered the role of wealthy wife in the drama series and she is currently “positively considering” the offer.

Gu Ha-Ra, formerly of idol group ‘Kara,’ was offered the lead role of the babysitter in the drama series, but she has declined the offer.

“Babysitter” will consist of 4 episodes and first air March 14, 2016 in South Korea.

Ai Hashimoto & Aoi Miyazaki cast as daughter & mother in movie “Birthday Card”

Actresses Ai Hashimoto & Aoi Miyazaki are cast as daughter & mother in upcoming movie “Birthday Card.” There’s only a 10 year age gap between the actresses, but its likely they won’t appear together in the film.

Premise for the film has Ai Hashimoto playing Noriko. She lost her mother, played by Aoi Miyazaki, when she was only 10-years-old. Meanwhile, the mother knew she would not live long enough to see her children grow up and wrote future birthday cards for her two children. Noriko receives hints and advice every year from the birthday cards her mother wrote. Movie is directed by Yasuhiro Yoshida (“Enoshima Prism“).

“Birthday Card” will be released October, 2016 in Japan.

Hikari Mitsushima to make guest appearance in Fuji TV drama series “Love That Makes You Cry”

Actress Hikari Mitsushima is set to make a guest appearance in ep.6 of currently airing Fuji TV drama series “Love That Makes You Cry” (English title) starring Kasumi Arimura & Kengo Kora. Hikari Mitsushima already appeared in ep.1, but voice only as Oto Sugihara’s (Kasumi Arimura) late mother. She voiced Oto Sugihara’s mother when Oto Sugihara read her mother’s letter. In ep.6, Hikari Mitsushima will appear in flashback scenes with a child playing the character of Oto Sugihara.

Ep.6 of drama series “Love That Makes You Cry” airs February 22, 2016.

Eric (Shinhwa) offered lead male role in tvN drama series “Oh Hae-Young Again”

Eric from Kpop group “Shinhwa” has been offered the lead male role in upcoming tvN drama series “Oh Hae-Young Again” (literal title). He is currently “positively considering” the offer. If he accepts the offer, he will play a man with the ability to see the future and his character tries to flee from two women with the same name of Oh Hae-Young.

Meanwhile, actress Kim A-Joong was offered a lead female role in the drama series, but she has now declined the offer.

“Oh Hae-Young Again” first airs this May in South Korea (takes over the Monday and Tuesday 11PM time slot after “Pied Piper“)
