Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo are cast in live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun.” Movie is based on manga series “Kyo no Kira kun” by Rin Mikimoto and directed Yasuhiro Kawamura (“L-DK“). In live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun,” Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo play high school classmates who are also next door neighbors. Taishi Nakagawa’s character is terminally ill and only has a year to live.

Movie is based on novel “Otousan to Itou san” by Hinako Nakazawa and directed Yuki Tanada (“One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman“). Premise for the film has Juri Ueno played a 30 something year old woman living with her boyfriend, played by Lily Franky, who is 20 years her senior. Then out of the blue, the woman’s father, played by Tatsuya Fuji, appears and moves in with them.
