Ikki Sawamura, Ryusei Fujii (‘7 WEST’) & Mirai Shida are all cast in upcoming NTV drama series “Rental Savior” (literal title). Drama series is scripted by Yusuke Watanabe.
The upcoming drama series will revolve around the agency Rental Kyuseishu (Rental Savior). They provide the service of helping their clients out of difficult situations. Ikki Sawamura plays Yugo Akenabe. His character is in heavy debt and he begins work at Rental Kyuseishu to pay off his debts. He works with Denjiro Aoi (Ryusei Fujii).
“Rental Savior” first airs this October in Japan.
First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “Woman with a Suitcase,” starring Choi Ji-Woo, Joo Jin-Mo, Jeon Hye-Bin & Lee Joon. The first script reading took about 4 hours to finish. All main cast members were in attendance.
Ep.1 of “Woman with a Suitcase” was first targeted to air on September 19, 2016 in South Korea, but with the Summer Olympics airing in place of currently airing drama series “Monster,” “Woman with a Suitcase” will now premiere on October 3, 2016 (with “Monster” finishing about 2 weeks later than first scheduled).
Ryusei Yokohama, Ryo Narita and Yosuke Sugino are cast in upcoming movie “Kiseki: Sobito of That Day” starring Tori Matsuzaka & Masaki Suda. Movie revolves around the actual real life band “Greeeen” and their hit song “Kiseki.” Tori Matsuzaka plays the producer of the group and Masaki Suda plays Hide (lead member “Greeeen”).
Meanwhile, Ryusei Yokohama will play Navi, Ryo Narita will play 92 and Yosuke Sugino will play Soh. They are playing the three other members of “Greeeen.”
“Kiseki: Sobito of That Day” will be released sometime spring, 2017 in Japan.
Shin Won-Ho from boy group “Cross Gene” is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “The Legend of the Blue Sea” starring Gianna Jun & Lee Min-Ho.
In the drama series, Shin Won-Ho will play supporting character Tae-O. He is an elite hacker and works with Jo Nam-Doo (Lee Hee-Joon) and Heo Joon-Jae (Lee Min-Ho) in criminal endeavours.
“The Legend of the Blue Sea” first airs November 16, 2016 in South Korea.
Teaser trailer #2 added for SBS drama series “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” starring Lee Joon-Gi & IU. The second teaser trailer has the title of “My Person,” while the first teaser trailer was titled “Blood’s Monarch.”
Meanwhile, character posters has been released of supporting actors Kim Sung-Kyun, Kang Han-Na, Jin Ki-Joo, Seohyun (‘Girls’ Generation’) and Z.Hera.

Lee Jung-Shin (‘CNBLUE’) and Jung Da-Bin are cast in upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl” starring Joo Won.
For the drama series, Lee Jung-Shin will play major supporting character Kang Joon-Young. He works as a public officer. Jung Da-Bin will play supporting character Gyun-Hee. She is the younger sister of Gyun-Woo (Joo Won). Her character is a bright girl and longs for free love. Casting for the lead female character role has yet to be finalized.
“My Sassy Girl” will sometime next year in South Korea.
Teaser trailer for upcoming movie “Traces of Sin” starring Satoshi Tsumabuki & Hikari Mitsushima. Movie is based on 2006 novel “Gukoroku” by Tokuro Nukui & directed by Kei Ishikawa.
Story for the film has Satoshi Tsumabuki playing reporter Tanaka. He writes about an unsolved murder case that took place a year earlier. A family was murdered in the incident. He learns dark secrets about the family.
“Traces of Sin” will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on September 6, 2016 and its general release February 18, 2017 in Japan.
