Yuriko Yoshitaka cast in movie “Yurigokoro”

Yuriko Yoshitaka is cast in upcoming mystery film “Yurigokoro.” The movie is based on 2011 novel “Yurigokoro” by Mahokaru Numata which won the 14th Oyabu Haruhiko Sho. Movie is directed by Naoto Kumazawa. In the upcoming movie, Yuriko Yoshitaka will play main character Misako. She plays a murderer who learns to love, but can’t escape from her murderer desires.

“Yurigokoro” will be released September, 2017 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “The King”

Teaser trailer and character posters added for upcoming movie “The King” starring Zo In-Sung & Jung Woo-Sung. Movie is written and directed by Han Jae-Rim. The character posters are of Zo In-Sung, Jung Woo-Sung, Bae Sung-Woo and Ryoo Joon-Yeol. Story for “The King,” follows Zo In-Sung as Park Tae-Soo. After going through a difficult upbringing Park Tae-Soo becomes a prosecutor, but he wants to amass more power.

“The King” will be released sometime January, 2017 in South Korea.

Takako Matsu, Hikari Mitsushima, Issei Takahashi & Ryuhei Matsuda cast in TBS drama series “Quartet”

Takako Matsu, Hikari Mitsushima, Issei Takahashi & Ryuhei Matsuda are cast in TBS drama series “Quartet.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Yuji Sakamoto and will be directed by Nobuhiro Doi. Premise for the drama series will revolve around four people in their 30’s who form a musical quartet. There is also a secret held by one of the members.

“Quartet” will first air January, 2017 in Japan.

First kiss scene in drama series “My Only Love Song”

Here’s still images of Lee Jong-Hyun (‘CNBLUE’) and Kong Seung-Yeon‘s first kiss scene in upcoming drama series “My Only Love Song.” Filming for this scene actually took place in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province and Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province. The scene has On Dal (Lee Jong-Hyun) and Song Soo-Jung (Kong Seung-Yeon) realizing that they are in love. Song Soo-Jung is actually a top star in the present day, but she travels back in time to the Joseon era and meets On Dal.

“My Only Love Song” is tentatively scheduled to first air sometime in February, 2017 (exact network has yet be announced).

Ryuta Sato and Naomi Nishida cast in live-action film “Daytime Shooting Star”

Ryuta Sato and Naomi Nishida are cast in supporting roles for upcoming live-action film “Daytime Shooting Star” starring Mei Nagano, Shohei Miura & Aran Shirahama. Movie is based on manga series “Hirunaka no Ryuusei” by Mika Yamamori. In the upcoming film, Ryuta Sato will play Yukichi Kumamoto. His character is the uncle of Suzume Yosano (Mei Nagano), whom she begins to live with in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Naomi Nishida will play Satoko Yosano. She is the mother of Suzume Yosano.

Filming for “Daytime Shooting Star” began in early October, 2016 and recently finished. “Daytime Shooting Star” will be released March 24, 2017 in Japan.

Karina cast in Fuji TV drama series “Kirawareru Yuuki”

Karina is cast in new Fuji TV drama series “Kirawareru Yuuki.” Also cast in the drama series are Shigeaki Kato (‘NEWS’) and Kippei Shiina. The drama series is based on self-improvement book “Kirawareru Yuuki” by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga. In the drama series, Karina will play Detective Ranko Ando. Her character doesn’t care what others think and does her job well. She works with detective Toshio Ooyama (Shigeaki Kato) who cares how others view him. Literal title for the drama series is “Courage to Be Hated.”

“Kirawareru Yuuki” first airs January, 2017 in Japan.
