Trailer and poster added for Netflix distributed film “Persona” starring IU. The film consists of 4 different stories starring IU and each directed by different directors. The 4 directors are Lee Kyoung-Mi (“Crush and Blush“), Yim Pil-Sung (“Doomsday Book“), Jeon Go-Woon (“Microhabitat“) and Kim Jong-Kwan (“The Table“). Bae Doo-Na and Park Hae-Soo appear in one of the segments.
“Persona” will be available to stream through Netflix from April 5, 2019.
First script reading for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Dan, Only Love” (literal title) took place February 18, 2019 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. At the first script reading, main cast members including L (INFINITE), Shin Hye-Sun, Lee Dong-Gun, Kim Bo-Mi, Do Ji-Won and Kim In-Kwon were in attendance. The first script reading took about 4 hours to complete. In the drama series, L (aka Kim Myung-Soo) plays an angel who takes on a mission.

Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming film “No Longer Human” starring Shun Oguri, Rie Miyazawa, Erika Sawajiri and Fumi Nikaido. The Japanese title for the film has been updated from “Ningen Shikkaku” to “Ningen Shikkaku: Dazai Osamu to 3 Nin no Onnatachi” (literally “Human Disqualification: Osamu Dazai And 3 Women”). The film is based on the life of writer Osamu Dazai. The teaser trailer begins with Shun Oguri stating in Japanese “Humans were born for love and revolution.” Movie is directed by suddenly prolific director Mika Ninagawa (“Sakuran“).
“No Longer Human” is now set for release September 13, 2019 in Japan.
Seo Ji-Hoon is cast in new JTBC drama series “Flower Crew: Joseon Matchmaking Maneuver Agency” (literal title). Seo Ji-Hoon will play Lee Soo. His character was once an ordinary blacksmith, but he somehow became the King of Joseon. Meanwhjile, Kim Min-Jae was already cast to play one of the 3 handsome men in the Flower Crew Joseon Matchmaking Agency.

Jung Woo is cast for the lead role in gangster film “The Boiling Blood” (literal title). The movie is based on 2016 novel “Ddeugeowoon Pi” by Kim Eon-Soo and directed by first-time feature film director Cheon Myeong-Kwan. For the film, Jung Woo will play mid-level gangster Hee-Soo.
Filming for “The Boiling Blood” will begin late March, 2019 in South Korea.
First script reading for OCN drama series “Save Me 2” took place February, 2019 in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Um Tae-Goo, Cheon Ho-Jin, Esom, Kim Young-Min, Jo Jae-Yun, Han Sun-Hwa, Sung Hyuk, Oh Yeon-A, Seo Young-Hwa, Woo Hyeon and Lim Ha-Ryong attended. After the first script reading, drama series director Lee Kwon stated “This is great. It seems like the picture drawn in my mind is becoming reality. I’m more than satisfied.”

Teaser trailer #2 added for MBC period drama series “Different Dreams” starring Lee Yo-Won, Yoo Ji-Tae, Lim Ju-Hwan and Nam Gyu-Ri. Around the 16 second mark, Yoo Ji-Tae states in Korean “I will hear the reason. The reason why you betrayed the country.”
Meanwhile, below are character cuts of Lee Yo-Won as Lee Young-Jin, Yoo Ji-Tae as Kim Won-Bong and Lim Ju-Hwan as Fukada. For Lim Ju-Hwan, his character of Fukuda is a Japanese prosecutor. He is well-mannered and begins to have feelings for Lee Young-Jin (Lee Yo-Won). The drama series is set in 1919.
