Teaser trailer #2 for KBS1 weekday evening drama series “Home for Summer”

Teaser trailer #2 added for KBS1 weekday evening drama series “Home for Summer” starring Lee Young-Eun, Kim Sa-Kwon, Yoon Sun-Woo and Lee Chae-Young. Meanwhile, above is the first teaser poster for the drama series which depicts a smiling family enjoying their vacation. Lee Young-Eun as Wang Geum-Hee is smiling and holding the picnic basket.

“Home for Summer” first airs April 29, 2019 in South Korea (takes over KBS1’s Monday though Friday 8:25 PM time slot after “It’s My Life“).

First script reading for SBS drama series “My Absolute Boyfriend”

The first script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “My Absolute Boyfriend” took place back in June 22, 2018 at Seoul Dragon City Hotel in Yongsan-District, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading included main cast members Yeo Jin-Goo, Bang Min-Ah, Hong Jong-Hyun, Hong Seo-Young, Choi Sung-Won, Cha Jung-Won, Kong Jung-Hwan, Hong Seok-Cheon and Ha Jae-Suk. The first first script reading took about 5 hours to finish. The drama series is based on manga series “Zettai Kareshi” by Yuu Watase.

“My Absolute Boyfriend airs as a 100% pre-produced drama and will first air May, 2019 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Wednesday & Thursday 10 PM time slot after “Big Issue“).

Kong Seung-Yeon cast in JTBC drama series “Flower Crew: Joseon Matchmaking Maneuver Agency”

Kong Seung-Yeon is cast for the lead female role in JTBC drama series “Flower Crew: Joseon Matchmaking Maneuver Agency” (literal title) co-starring Kim Min-Jae. For the drama series, Kong Seung-Yeon will play Gae-Ddong. Her character has to be tough to make money and she does things like chopping firewood and carrying rice bags. She is the first love of Lee Soo (Seo Ji-Hoon) who is now a king.

“Flower Crew: Joseon Matchmaking Maneuver Agency” first airs September 2, 2019 in South Korea.

Takahiro, Hayato Ichihara & Yoshinori Okada cast in movie “3 Nin no Nobunaga”

Takahiro (‘EXILE’), Hayato Ichihara and Yoshinori Okada are cast in movie “3 Nin no Nobunaga.” Also cast in supporting roles are Masahiro Takashima, Kazuyuki Aijima, Goki Maeda and Nozomi Bando (‘E-girls’). The film has the three lead men claiming to be Nobunaga Oda and Ujinori Kanbara played by Masahiro Takashima tries to figure out which one is the real Nobunaga Oda. Movie is written and directed by Kei Watanabe(“High & Low The Movie“).

“3 Nin no Nobunaga” will be released September 20, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Arthdal Chronicles”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Arthdal Chronicles” starring Song Joong-Ki, Jang Dong-Gun and Kim Ji-Won. The teaser starts with a voice citing the name of “Ta-Gon,” which is the character played by Jang Dong-Gun, and then Song Joong-Ki’s voice asks “Where is he?” The other voice answers “He is in Arthdal” and then Song Joong-Ki’s voice repeats “Arthdal.” Caption at the 3 second mark states in Korean “Here is the beginning of everything” and then at the 7 second mark states “If they survive, they will become legends.”

The teaser trailer also confirms that “Arthdal Chronicles” will first air June, 2019 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Ichigo no Uta”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Ichigo no Uta” starring Yutaro Furutachi and Shizuka Ishibashi. Movie is based on a novel “Ichigo no Uta” by Yoshikazu Okada and Kazunobu Mineta from punk rock band Ging Nang Boyz. The novel itself is based on 7 songs from the Ging Nang Boyz. Not so surprisingly, the teaser trailer also reveal’s the theme song for the film which is “Ichigo no Uta” by “Ging Nang Boyz.” The song was written by Kazunobu Mineta for the film.

“Ichigo no Uta” is now set for release July 5, 2019 in Japan.

Yeon Woo-Jin, Kim Se-Jeong, Song Jae-Rim & Park Ji-Yeon cast in KBS2 drama series “Let Me Hear Your Song”

Yeon Woo-Jin and Kim Se-Jeong (‘Gugudan’) are cast for lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Let Me Hear Your Song” (literal title). Song Jae-Rim and Park Ji-Yeon (‘T-ara’) are also cast for major supporting roles in the drama series. “Let Me Hear Your Song” will fall into the mystery & romantic-comedy genres, revolve around members of an orchestra and a murder that took place.

“Let Me Hear Your Song” will first air July, 2019 (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Perfume.”
