Woo Do-Hwan, Lee Sang-Yi, Kim Sae-Ron, Park Sung-Woong, & Heo Jun-Ho are cast in Netflix drama series “Hunting Dogs” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Sanyanggaedeul” by Jung Chan. The screenplay will follow a group of people who work for a money lender. Woo Do-Hwan will play Kim Gun-Woo. He quits boxing and begins to work for a moneylender played by Heo Jun-Ho. Lee Sang-Yi and Kim Sae-Ron will play employees who work for the same the moneylender.
Currenly, Woo Do-Hwan is serving his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean military and he is scheduled to be discharged on January 5, 2022. “Hunting Dogs” will be his first acting role after he is discharged.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Gun-Woo (Woo Do-Hwan) is a promising boxer. His mother is deep in debt to loan shark Myung-Gil (Park Sung-Woong), who is powerful and notorious in the money lending business. To pay off his mother’s debt, Gun-Woo quits boxing and begins to work for CEO Choi (Heo Jun-Ho).
CEO Choi was once a legendary figure in the moneylending business, but he suddenly disappeared. One day, he reappeared and began to lend money without interest to people in trouble. He lets Gun-Woo work for him. Hyun-Joo (Kim Sae-Ron) and Woo-Jin (Lee Sang-Yi) also works for CEO Choi.
