First teaser trailer for KBS2 drama series “Bloody Heart” starring Lee Joon, Kang Han-Na, & Jang Hyuk. The teaser trailer begins with Lee Joon stating “Please live. Please survive.” Around the 18 second mark he then states “Still, I will live, so I can bleed them dry, who slaughtered my loved ones. You must survive. My wife who was destroyed by me.” Below are the first still images of Lee Joon, Kang Han-Na, & Jang Hyuk in the drama series.
“Bloody Heart” is now set to first air May 2, 2022 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 9:30PM time slot after “Crazy Love“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Lee Tae’s (Lee Joon) father deposed the king with the help of Park Gye-Won (Jang Hyuk) and his father became the king of a new dynasty. After succeeding his father, Lee Tae then became the next king. Lee Tae believes any action is justifiable to achieve his goal. He wants to rule as an absolute monarch, but First Vice-Premier Park Gye-Won opposes that idea. Park Gye-Won is even more powerful than the king.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jung (Kang Han-Na) is a daughter of a noble family. Lee Tae thinks of her as his wife. Due to that, her family gets involved in a power struggle in the royal court.
