Trailer & poster for movie “Radiation House”

Trailer and poster added for live-action film “Radiation House” starring Masataka Kubota & Tsubasa Honda. Movie is based on manga series “Radiation House” by Tomohiro Yokomaku and directed by Masayuki Suzuki. The film also follows 2019 Fuji TV drama series “Radiation House” and its 2021 sequel “Radiation House II.” The movie’s theme song has also been revealed as “More Than Words” by rock band Man With A Mission and that song plays in the main trailer. More supporting cast members have been announced for the film and they are Ikusaburo YamazakiYumi WakatsukiKatsumi Takahashi, and Midoriko Kimura.

“Radiation House” will be released April 29, 2022 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Iori Igarashi (Masataka Kubota) works as a radiographer at a general hospital. He has been depressed, because An Amakasu (Tsubasa Honda), whom he loves, has decided to travel abroad to Washington Medical University to learn more as radiologist. The members of Radiation House encourages Iori Igarashi.

One day, An Amakasu learns that her father is in serious condition. Her father was the only practicing doctor at a small clinic on a remote island. When An Amakasu gets to her father, her father tells her to be a doctor who sees patients as a person and not a disease. Her father then passes away. An Amakasu decides to stay on the island because of a patient that her father cared about. A massive typhoon soon hits the island and a landslide then occurs. An unknown infectious disease spreads afterwards on the island.

Iori Igarashi knows that An Amakasu is struggling on the remote island and he makes a decision for An Amakasu and the residents of the island.
