Trailer and poster added for movie “Hatachi no Soru” starring Fuju Kamio & Koichi Sato. The film is based on non-fiction novel “Hatachi no Soru” by Yuriko Nakai and directed by Jun Akiyama (“I Love Tokyo Legend – Kawaii Detective“). Movie follows Fuju Kamio as Taigi Asano. He is a college student and hopes to become a music teacher. He is then diagnosed with cancer.
“Hatachi no Soru” will be released May 27, 2022 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Taigi Asano (Fuju Kamio) plays the trombone for the Funabashi High School Brass Band. He has a bright, kind and honest personality. He also gets along well with the other brass band members. He enjoys his time with the band and the influence of Music Teacher Kenichi Takahashi (Koichi Sato). One day, Taigi Asano takes on the challenge to create a cheering song for the high school baseball team. With Kenichi Takahashi’s support, Taigi Asano creates the fight song “Ichifuna Soul.”
After graduating high school, Taigi Asano enters a university and dreams of becoming a teacher like Kenichi Takahashi. While experiencing campus life at his university, Taigi Asano feels something wrong with his body. He goes to see a doctor and learns that he has cancer.
