Trailer for live-action film “The Island of Cats” starring Shinosuke Tatekawa, Kou Shibasaki and Kaoru Kobayashi. Movie is based on manga series “Neko to Jiichan” by Nekomaki and directed by Mitsuaki Iwago. The film follows 70-year-old Daikichi and his beloved cat. He lives on a small island. Kou Shibasak plays Michiko. She runs a cafe on the island.
“The Island of Cats” will be released February 22, 2019 in Japan.
