Trailer and poster added for teen-romance film “I Have a Secret” starring Daiken Okudaira, Natsuki Deguchi, Masaya Sano, Hinako Kikuchi & Ikoi Hayase. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Kakushigoto” by Yoru Sumino (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). Story for “I Have a Secret” revolve around five high school students and seeing the feelings of someone they love. The movie’s theme song has also been announced as “I Hate This Love Song” by Chanmina.
“I Have a Secret” will be released May 30, 2025 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kyo Otsuka (Daiken Okudaira) is a high school student. He has an inferiority complex and believes that he is nothing. Yet, he can’t help having interest in classmate Naoko Miki (Natsuki Deguchi), who is a popular girl with a bright personality. Kyo Otsuka always watches her from a distance as she hangs around Aya Kuroda (Hinako Kikuchi), who is unpredictable and goes at her own pace. Hirofumi Takasaki (Masaya Sano) is Naoko Miki’s childhood friend and also Kyo Otsuka’s best friend. He is a popular boy, who has a good personality, physically attractive, and good at sports.
One day, shy student Noe Miyazato (Ikoi Hayase) stops coming to school. Due to this, the 5 students’ feelings begin to move.
