Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Gosh!!” starring Joe Odagiri & Sosuke Ikematsu. The film is also written and directed by Joe Odagiri. Joe Odagiri previously wrote, directed, and starred in 3 episode 2021 NHK drama series “Gosh!! – Police Dog Oliver and His Handler’s Bizarre Case Files.” Premise for the movie, has Sosuke Ikematsu play Police Officer Ippei Aoba. His partner is canine dog Oliver (Joe Odagiri), who only appears to Ippei Aoba as a womanizing middle-aged drunk in a dog suit.
“Gosh!!” will be released September 26, 2025 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Ippei Aoba (Sosuke Ikematsu) is a police officer in the Forensics Division at the Hazama Prefectural Police Station. His partner is police dog Oliver (Joe Odagiri). Oliver looks like an ordinary dog to everybody except Ippei Aoba, who sees the dog as a womanizing middle-aged drunk in a dog suit. They face a series of bizarre cases that occur one after the other.
