Teaser trailer added for movie “A Hundred Flowers” starring Masaki Suda & Mieko Harada. Movie is based on 2019 novel “Hyakka” by Genki Kawamura and also directed by him. Also announced today for supporting roles in the film are Masami Nagasawa & Masatoshi Nagase. Masami Nagasawa will play Kaori, who is married to Izumi Kasai (Masaki Suda). Masatoshi Nagase will play Yohei Asaba. He is involved in Yuriko Kasai’s (Mieko Harada) secret.
“A Hundred Flowers” will be released September 9, 2022.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: As a single mother, Yuriko Kasai (Mieko Harada) raised her son Izumi Kasai (Masaki Suda) alone. Izumi Kasai is now an adult and works for a record label, but Yuriko Kasai suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. She is even losing memory of her own son. Izumi Kasai takes care of his mother and recalls long ago memories with his mother, but he faces a case that took place in the past. That case is something that is unforgettable to him.
