Junichi Okada & Kentaro Sakaguchi cast in movie “Hell Dogs”

Junichi Okada & Kentaro Sakaguchi are cast in movie “Hell Dogs.” The film is based on 2017 novel “Hell Dogs” by Akio Fukamachi and directed by Masato Harada (“Chronicle Of My Mother“). In “Hell Dogs,” Junichi Okada will play Shogo Kanetaka. He is a police officer, who is ordered to go undercover and join the yakuza. Kentaro Sakaguchi will play yakuza member Hideki Murooka.

“Hell Dogs” will be released September 16, 2022 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Shogo Kanetaka (Junichi Okada) is a police officer, who suffers from trauma when his loved one was murdered. Since that horrific time, Shogo Kanetaka has only thought about revenge. He then receives an order to go undercover as a yakuza member. The police instructs Shogo Kanetaka to pick a fight with yakuza member Hideki Murooka (Kentaro Sakaguchi) as a stepping stone to gain entrance into the organization. The police have data that shows Shogo Kanetaka is matched with Hideki Murooka 98%. Meanwhile, Hideki Murooka is the son of a death-row convict. He has a physical condition, where is he always hungry and constantly eating. He also can’t controls his emotions and even the yakuza is unable to control him.
