Fumika Shimizu and Marie Iitoyo are cast in new movie “Girls in the Dark” (“Ankoku Joshi”). The movie is based on 2012 novel “Ankoku Joshi” by Rikako Akiyoshi and directed by Saiji Yakumo (“Mars“). Also cast in supporting roles for the movie are Nana Seino, Tina Tamashiro , Riria and Yuna Taira.
Story for “Girls in the Dark” has high school student Itsumi Shiraishi (Marie Iitoyo) falling off a rooftop school building. Did she kill herself or was she intentionally or unintentionally killed?
“Girls in the Dark” will be released sometime during spring, 2017 in Japan.
