Yuta Tamamori is cast in TV Asahi drama series “My Fiction.” The screenplay is written by Junpei Yamaoka (“Marriage Hunter“). For actor Yuta Tamamori, he will return to a TV Asahi drama series for the first time in 4 years. The drama series will revolve around main character Masaki Igawa played by Yuta Tamamori. He wakes up from a coma and finds that there is a person impersonating him and other people seem to have no memories of him.
“My Fiction” will first air July 5, 2026 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Masaki Igawa (Yuta Tamamori) is an ordinary guy, living in the peaceful town of Morinuma Nextown. The town boasts that they have had zero reported crime cases for 1,100 consecutive days. Masaki Igawa works as a caregiver at a nursing home and has been happily married to his wife Mayumi for 6 years. He has good relationships with his coworkers and his neighbors, but, one day, Masaki Igawa falls from an accident and goes into a coma. A week later, he finally opens his eyes and rushes home. To his surprise, he finds a person impersonating him. His coworkers, neighbors, and even his wife Mayumi seem to have no memories of him.
