Trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “The Journalist” starring Ryoko Yonekura. More castings have been announced for the drama series and they are Go Ayano, Ryusei Yokohama, Hidetaka Yoshioka , Shinobu Terajima , Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Tomorowo Taguchi, Koji Ookura, Tetsushi Tanaka, Masato Hagiwara, Tokio Emoto, Kaho Tsuchimura, Karin Ono, Jun Hashimoto, Denden, Yusuke Santamaria and Shiro Sano. “The Journalist” drama series shares same title, setting at newspaper company Shinbun Kisha, and director as 2019 movie “The Journalist,” starring Shim Eun-Kyung & Tori Matsuzaka, but features different characters and story.
“The Journalist” will be available to stream from January 13, 2022.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Anna Matsuda (Ryoko Yonekura) is a reporter for the Toto Newspaper. She is referred to as “Shinbun Gyokai no Itanji” (nonconformist in the newspaper field). Following her beliefs as a journalist, she carries out her work.
