Ryoko Shinohara and Bakarhythm are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Yips.” The comedy-mystery drama series will have Ryoko Shinohara play mystery writer Miko Kuroba and Bakarhythm play detective Toru Morino. They both suffer from the yips and begin to work together to solve cases.
“Yips” first airs April 12, 2024 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Friday 9 PM time slot after “Hospital Police Force“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Miko Kuroba (Ryoko Shinohara) is a mystery writer. Her books are popular and she has written bestsellers since she made her debut, but she is unable to write anymore. She currently works as a commentator for TV show. Toru Morino (Bakarhythm) is a detective. Due to an incident, his arrest rate has plummeted and he is unable to solve cases anymore. Miko Kuroba and Toru Morino both suffer from the yips and they happen to meet at a sauna facility. They become good friends and solve cases together.
