Mirai Shida is cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Gezan Meshi.” The foodie themed drama series is based on 2022 novel “Yamakei Shinsho Kanto shuhen Oishii Utsukushi no Gezan Meshi” by Yoshiko Nishino. The writer Yoshiko Nishino is a mountain guide and also a freelance writer. For “Gezan Meshi,” Mirai Shida will play introverted Mineko. Her hobby is mountain climbing and eating at restaurants once she finishes her climb.
“Gezan Meshi” will first air November 14, 2024 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Mineko (Mirai Shida) is an introverted illustrator, who isn’t good with interpersonal communication. When she is alone or in her fantasy world, she tends to be talkative. Her hobby is mountain climbing. Along with mountain climbing, she loves to drink beer and enjoy meals at restaurants after descending the mountain. She carefully selects a restaurant for that event and enjoys their selected meals.
