Mei Hata and Mirai Shida cast in TV Asahi drama “Error”

Mei Hata and Mirai Shida are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Error.” The original screenplay written by Sakiko Yashige depicts an unexpected friendship between two women. There are lies, secrets, and betrayals that take place between them. Mei Hata plays Yume Nakata. She tried to save a woman from taking her own life, but learned that she died that night. Two months later she meets Mio Osako, who is the daughter of that woman who died.

“Error” will first air April 12, 2026 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yume Nakata (Mei Hata) makes the biggest mistake of her life. She tries to help a woman, who is attempting to take her own life, but, lthat night, the woman kills herself by falling from a building. Since then, Yume Nakata has struggled with guilt over the death of that woman. Meanwhile, Mio Osako (Mirai Shida) is the daughter of the deceased woman and she can’t accept the fact that her mother committed suicide. One day, Yume Nakata and Mio Osako happen to meet. Yume Nakata realizes that Mio Osako is the daughter of the woman who fell to her death from that building.
