Marika Matsumoto cast in TV Tokyo drama “Otto no Katei wo Kowasu Made.”

Marika Matsumoto, Terunosuke Takezai, and Maho Nonami are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Otto no Katei wo Kowasu Made.” The drama series is based on the webcomic of same name by Mana Akaishi.  For the upcoming drama series Marika Matsumoto will play lead character Minori Kisaragi. She learns her husband has been in an affair for 15 years and she sets out to get revenge.

“Otto no Katei wo Kowasu Made” will first air July 8, 2024 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Minori Kisaragi (Marika Matsumoto) is a housewife and she is married to Yuta Kisaragi (Terunosuke Takezai). She met him when she was a student and fell in love with him at that time. After 10 years they finally married. Now, they have a 5 year old son. When Minori Kisaragi was a child, her mother died and she did not know her father. After her mother’s death, her grandfather raised her. She has absolute faith in her husband Yuta Kisaragi, but she learns that her husband has been cheating on her for 15 years. Minori Kisaragi decides to take revenge on him.

She approaches high school student Wataru Miyake (Kota Nomura). His mother, Riko Miyake (Maho Nonami), is the woman having an affair with her husband Yuta Kisaragi. Minori Kisaragi attempts to collect evidence of their affair. She soon learns the secret of her own birth and a major conspiracy hidden in her husband’s affair.
