Kenta Kiritani cast in TV Asahi drama “Keiji to Kenji Tokidoki Hanji”

Kenta Kiritani is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Keiji to Kenji Tokidoki Hanji.” The drama series is a sequel to 2020 TV Asahi drama series “Police and Prosecutor.” Yasushi Fukuda, who wrote the original screenplay for “Police and Prosecutor,” will also write the screenplay for “Keiji to Kenji, Tokidoki Hanji.” In “Keiji to Kenji, Tokidoki Hanji,” Kenta Kiritani returns as Detective Gota Nakaido. He is a former PE teacher and now a detective out to catch criminals and get a promotion.

“Keiji to Kenji, Tokidoki Hanji” will first air April, 2023 in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Thursday 9PM time slot after “Outsider: Metropolitan Police Department“).

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Gota Nakaido (Kenta Kiritani) is a detective and works at the Minatomirai Police Station in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from a university, Gota Nakaido worked as a high school PE teacher for 8 years. He quit his teaching job due to his desire to stomp out the bad people who leads students astray. As a detective, Gota Nakaido cares about getting a promotion, but it’s not easy for him because he is not very good at studying. He is most enthusiastic about catching criminals and more than anything else, he is happiest when victims thank him for catching criminals.
