Teaser poster and release date set for movie “Special Cargo” (literal title) starring Park So-Dam & Song Sae-Byeok. The crime-action film is now set for release January 5, 2022 in South Korea. The film has Park So-Dam playing special delivery driver Eun-Ha. She delivers anything or anyone for the right price. Caption on the teaser poster states “Success rate 100%.

Park Hyung-Sik and Han So-Hee are cast in romance-music film “Soundtrack #1.” Movie will be directed by Kim Hee-Won, who has directed drama series like “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown.” For the movie, Park Hyung-Sik and Han So-Hee will play two young adults who have been friends for 20 years. They begin to live together for 2 weeks and fall in love.
“Soundtrack #1” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

See list of nominees and winners at the just concluded 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards. The two big winners at the award show were movies ‘”Escape from Mogadishu” and “The Book of Fish,” with each winning 5 awards. The best film and best director (Ryoo Seung-Wan) awards went to “Escape from Mogadishu,” while Sol Kyung-Gu received the best actor award for his performance in “The Book of Fish.”
According to their respective management companies, Park Shin-Hye and Choi Tae-Joon will hold a private wedding ceremony on January 22, 2022 in Seoul. Park Shin-Hye is currently pregnant with their first child. Their relationship was first announced on March 7, 2018, when the couple went public with their relationship. They stated their relationship developed romantically from late 2017. Congratulations to the couple.

Hyun-Bin is cast in period spy-action film “Harbin.” Movie will be directed by Woo Min-Ho (“Inside Men“). “Harbin” is set in the early 19th century in Harbin, China, when Korea was under Japanese rule. Hyun Bin will play the lead character, who is a Korean independence fighter.
Filming for “Harbin” will begin sometime next year.

Shin Hye-Sun and Lee Jun-Young (U-KISS) are cast in movie “Brave Citizen” (literal title). Movie is based on webcomic “Yongamhan Shimin” by Kim Jung-Hyun & directed by Park Jin-Pyo (“You Are My Sunshine“).
The film is set at a high school and Shin Hye-Sun will play main character So Shi-Min. She works a contract teacher and only thinks about becoming a full time teacher. Lee Jun-Young will play Han Soo-Gang. He is a troubled student at the high school and gets into a confrontation with So Shi-Min.
Filming for “Brave Citizen” will begin December, 2021 and the movie’s release date has not yet been set, but discussions are under way to have the film released on the Wavve online streaming platform as an original film.
