Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Smugglers” starring Kim Hye-Soo, Yum Jung-Ah, & Zo In-Sung. Movie is directed by Ryoo Seung-Wan (“Escape from Mogadishu“). The maritime crime-action film, set in the 1970’s, follows a team of smugglers who uses the sea to make money. The film, written and directed by Kim Yong-Hwa (“Along With the Gods“), revolves around an astronaut (Do Kyung-Soo) in outer space and a scientist (Sol Kyung-Gu) on Earth who tries to save him. The Grand Prize in the movies section went to “Decision to Leave” directed by Park Chan-Wook and the Grand Prize in the drama series section went to Park Eun-Bin for her perforamance in ENA drama series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” Netflix drama series “The Glory” also picked up “Best Drama,” “Best Actress” (Song Hye-Kyo), and “Best Supporting Actress” (Lim Ji-Yeon).

The trailer shows Park Seo-Joon as hot tempered professional soccer play Yoon Hong-Dae. He gets into trouble after hitting a reporter. To repair his image, he takes part in a documentary produced by Lee So-Min (IU). Yoon Hong-Dae ends up coaching a team of homeless people for the Homeless World Cup. Hwang Jung-Min, Zo In-Sung, & Jung Ho-Yeon are cast in movie “Hope” (working title). The mystery-thriller film will be the fourth film directed by Na Hong-Jin (“The Chaser“). The film will be set around an isolated port town, where a mysterious existence is seen by residents and the mysterious existence attacks the residents. Hwang Jung-Min and Jung Ho-Yeon will play police officers in the town and Zo In-Sung will play a hunter.
Filming for “Hope” will begin in the middle of this year.
