Ko Kyoung-Pyo and Kang Han-Na cast in JTBC drama “No Secret”

Ko Kyoung-Pyo and Kang Han-Na are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “No Secret” (literal title). The drama series will feature a romantic-comedy screenplay. For “No Secret,” Ko Kyoung-Pyo will play news announcer Song Ki-Baek and Kang Han-Na will play variety TV show screenwriter On Woo-Joo. The well mannered Song Ki-Baek comes down with an illness that causes him to speak without thinking about his choice of words.

“No Secret” will air sometime this year on JTBC, but more specific time frame has not yet been decided.

Park Eun-Bin cast in new drama “Diva of the Deserted Island”

Park Eun-Bin is cast in new drama series “Diva of the Deserted Island” (literal title). Drama series will be directed by Oh Choong-Hwan and scripted by Park Hye-Ryun. The duo previously worked together for 2017 SBS drama series “While You Were Sleeping” and 2020 tvN drama series “Start-Up.” For “Diva of the Deserted Island,” Park Eun-Bin will play Seo Mok-Ha. She dreams of becoming a singer and grew up on an island. She was then stranded on a deserted island for 15 years.

Filming is expected to start during the first half of this year, but air date and broadcast network has not yet been decided.

The 8 episode sequel drama series follows “The Glory,” which was released December 30, 2022. Meanwhile, above and below are 8 teaser posters for the drama series. Lee Sung-Min, Yoo Yeon-Seok, and Lee Jung-Eun cast in TVING drama “Very Lucky Day”

Lee Sung-Min, Yoo Yeon-Seok, and Lee Jung-Eun are cast in TVING drama series “Very Lucky Day” (literal title). Drama series is based on on webcomic “Woonsoo Ojin Nal” by Aporia and directed by Pil Gam-Seong (“Hostage: Missing Celebrity“). The drama series will have Lee Sung-Min play a taxi driver who unknowingly drives a killer (Yoo Yeon-Seok) planning to flee the country.

“Very Lucky Day” will be available to stream sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Jang Hyuk & Jang Na-Ra cast in tvN drama “Family”

Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-Ra are cast in tvN drama series “Family.” Also cast in major supporting roles are Chae Jung-An and Kim Nam-Hee. “Family” will mark the 4th time Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-Ra will work together following “Bright Girl’s Success,” “You Are My Destiny,” and “Drama Festival 2014: Old Goodbye.” The drama series “Family” features a family-spy-comedy script with Jang Hyuk playing a secret agent, who holds an ordinary office job by day, and Jang Na-Ra playing his wife.

“Family” will first air April, 2023 in South Korea (taking over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 9PM time slot after “Our Blooming Youth“).

Teaser poster and March, 2023 release date set for TVING drama series “Duty After School” starring Shin Hyun-Soo, Lee Soon-Won, & Lim Se-Mi. The drama series is based on webcomic “Banggwa Hoo Jeonjaenghwaldong” by Ha Il-Kwon. Setup for the drama series has high school students having to take up arms to fight against strange aliens that appear in the sky. Drama series is directed by Sung Yong-Il (“Class of Lies“).
