Teaser trailer for MBC drama “Numbers”

First teaser trailer for MBC drama series “Numbers” starring Kim Myung-Soo and Choi Jin-Hyuk. The drama series features the two lead actors as employees at an accounting firm. Kim Myung-Soo as  Jang Ho-Woo provides narration in the teaser trailer with “That’s one of the reasons I joined Taeil Accounting Firm. I’m not going to let the man live in peace like nothing happened. He must be here somewhere.”

“Numbers” is now scheduled to first air June, 2023 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Friday and Saturday 10 PM time slot after “Joseon Attorney: A Morality“).

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “See You in My 19th Life” starring Shin Hye-Sun & Ahn Bo-Hyun. The fantasy-romance themed drama series revolves around Ban Ji-Eum (Shin Hye-Sun) who has a remarkable ability to remember moments from her past lives. She meets a man Moon Seo-Ha (Ahn Bo-Hyun) whom she loved in her past life. The first teaser trailer has Shin Hye-Sun stating “The 19th life. I’m coming to you.”

“See You in My 19th Life” first airs  June 17, 2023 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938“).

Teaser trailer 3 for tvN drama series “Delightfully Deceitful” starring Chun Woo-Hee & Kim Dong-Wook. The drama series follows Lee Ro-Woom, a con woman driven by revenge, and Han Moo-Young, a hyper empathetic lawyer who cares for her. Teaser trailer 3 begins with Kim Dong-Wook stating “Ro-Woom, now tell me. What kind of fraud are you are doing?” At the end of teaser trailer, Chun Woo-Hee states “I will show you the difference between a lawyer and a swindler.” Below are the first still images of Chun Woo-Hee and Kim Dong-Wook in the drama series.

Air date and supporting cast for tvN drama “Useless Lies”

First air date for tvN drama series “Useless Lies” (literal title), starring Kim So-Hyun & Minhyun, is now set to air July, 2023. The drama series will air in tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:50 PM time slot after the conclusion of “Delightfully Deceitful.” Meanwhile, the first batch of supporting actors have been announced for the drama series and they are Yun Ji-On, Seo Ji-Hoon, & Lee Si-Woo. Yun Ji-On will play Jo Deuk-Chan. He is the CEO of J Entertainment. He led Kim Do-Ha (Minhyun) to become a songwriter and he cares about him like a real brother. Seo Ji-Hoon will play Detective Lee Gang-Min.. He is Mok Sol-Hee’s (Kim So-Hyun) first loveLastly, Lee Si-Woo will play top solo singer Sha-On She communicates with Kim Do-Ha through music and she admires him.

Lee Dong-Wook & Kim Hye-Jun cast in Disney+ drama “The Killer’s Shopping Mall”

Lee Dong-Wook & Kim Hye-Jun are cast in Disney+ drama series “The Killer’s Shopping Mall.” The drama series is based on 2020 novel “Salinjaui Shoppingmall” by Kang Ji-Young and the screenplay adaptation was co-written by director Lee Kwon (“Door Lock“) and Ji Ho-Jin. The drama series will revolve around a mysterious shopping mall that was operated by Jung Ji-An’s (Kim Hye-Jun) uncle (Lee Dong-Wook).

“The Killer’s Shopping Mall” will be available to stream sometime next year.

See list of nominees and winners at the just concluded 59th BaekSang Arts Awards. The Grand Prize in the movies section went to “Decision to Leave” directed by Park Chan-Wook and the Grand Prize in the drama series section went to Park Eun-Bin for her perforamance in ENA drama series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” Netflix drama series “The Glory” also picked up “Best Drama,” “Best Actress” (Song Hye-Kyo), and “Best Supporting Actress” (Lim Ji-Yeon).

Ryuya Wakaba cast in movie “Penalty Loop”

Ryuya Wakaba is cast in movie “Penalty Loop.” The movie is written and directed by Shinji Araki (“The Town of Headcounts“). In “Penalty Loop,” Ryuya Wakaba will play Jun Iwamori. After successfully carrying out his revenge plan to kill his girlfriend’s murderer, Jun Iwamori finds himself stuck in the same day that repeats itself. Filming for “Penalty Loop” is underway now and will finish May, 2023.

“Penalty Loop” will be released March, 2024.

Trailer for Netflix drama “Black Knight”

English subtitled trailer for Netflix drama series “Black Knight” starring Kim Woo-Bin & Esom. “Black Knight” is based on webcomic “Taekbaegisa” by Lee Yoon-Kyun and is set in a dystopian future where pollution has killed off 99% of the population. The trailer shows legendary delivery man Knight 5-8 (Kim Woo-Bin) making deliveries of oxygen and other essentials. At night, he fights to change the world that is ruled by Cheonmyeong Group. Ryu-Seok (Song Seung-Heon) is the successor of Cheonmyeong Group.

“Black Knight” will be available to stream from May 12, 2023.

Kim Dong-Joon cast in KBS2 drama “Goryeo-Khitan War”

Kim Dong-Joon is cast in KBS2 drama series “Goryeo-Khitan War” co-starring Choi Soo-Jong. The historical drama series is set during the Goryeo dynasty. Kim Dong-Joon will play King Hyeonjong, who was the 8th ruler of Goryeo and lived from 992 – 1031. At that time, Goryeo was under constant attack from Khitan. King Hyeonjong became the king at the age of 19 and he tried to unite the people of Goryeo to fight against the Khitan. His political teacher at the time was Gang Gam-Chan (Choi Soo-Jong), who was also the military commander of the Goryeo army.
