Ep.1 trailer for SBS drama “Revenant”

Ep.1 trailer added for SBS drama series “Revenant” starring Kim Tae-Ri, Oh Jung-Se, & Hong Kyung. The horror-suspense drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Hee (“Kingdom“).

Teaser trailer 3 added for JTBC drama series “Miracle Brothers” (literal title) starring Jung Woo and Bae Hyun-Sung. Kim Woo-Bin & Bae Suzy cast in drama “Everything Will Come True”

Kim Woo-Bin & Bae Suzy are cast in fantasy romantic-comedy drama series “Everything Will Come True” (literal title). The two leads last worked together in 2016 KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond.” The drama series “Everything Will Come True” is scripted by Kim Eun-Sook (“The Glory“) and directed by Lee Byeong-Hun (“Be Melodramatic“). In “Everything Will Come True,” Kim Woo-Bin will play a genie, who is highly emotional, and Bae Suzy will play a young woman that is granted 3 wishes by the genie.

“Everything Will Come True” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Ep.1 trailer for JTBC drama “King the Land”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “King the Land” starring Lee Joon-Ho & Lim Yoon-A. The drama series is set at King Hotel where Lee Joon-Ho as Gu Won is a chaebol heir of the hotel and Lim Yoon-A as Cheon Sa-Rang works as an employee. Ep.1 trailer begins with Lim Yoon-A stating “I got accepted. I got accepted to the King Hotel! Whatever is asked of me, I’ll do my best.” Lee Joon-Ho then introduces himself as “I’m intern Gu Won.”

“King the Land” first airs June 17, 2023 in South Korea.

Ha-Joon cast in KBS2 drama “Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family”

Actor Ha-Joon is cast in KBS2 drama series “Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family” (literal title) co-starring Uee. In the drama series, Ha-Joon will play lead male character Kang Tae-Ho. At an early age, Kang Tae-Ho traveled to the U.S. to study. After graduating with a master’s degree in business administration, he passed up on offers to work in the U.S. and returned to South Korea. He returned to South Korea for a specific reason. In Korea, he goes to a gym regularly and meets a fitness trainer, Lee Hyo-Sim (Uee), there.

“Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family” first airs September, 2023 (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 8PM time slot after “The Real Has Come“).

Still images & release date set for Disney+ drama “Shadow Detective 2”

First still images and release date set for Disney+ drama series “Shadow Detective 2” starring Lee Sung-Min & Kyung Soo-Jin. The still images are of Lee Sung-Min, Kyung Soo-Jin, Lee Hak-Joo, Jung Jin-Young, and Kim Shin-Rok. Jung Jin-Young, and Kim Shin-Rok will play new characters and they did not appear in the first season of “Shadow Detective.” Jung Jin-Young will play Choi Do-Hyung. He is a retired detective and respected by police officers. Kim Shin-Rok will play Yeon Joo-Hyun. She leads the women & juvenile affairs section in the police department. Kim Taek-Rok (Lee Sung-Min) gets transferred to the division.

“Shadow Detective 2” will be available to stream from July, 2023.

Ko Ah-Sung & Chang Ryul cast in TVING drama “Chunhwa Love Story”

Ko Ah-Sung & Chang Ryul are cast in TVING drama series “Chunhwa Love Story” (literal title). The original screenplay is written by Seo Eun-Jung (“So Not Worth It“) and directed by Lee Gwang-Young (“Call It Love“). Setting for the screenplay is set in historical times and in the fictional country of Dongbangguk. Ko Ah-Sung will play Princess Hwari, who is in search of a husband for herself. Chang Ryul will play Choi Hwan. He is the first person of the potential suitors for the princess.

“Chunhwa Love Story” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Concrete Utopia” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon, & Park Bo-Young. The disaster film is based on webcomic “Yukwaehan Yiwoot” by Kim Soong-Nyoong. The teaser trailer begins with Lee Byung-Hun’s stating “I felt that this apartment was chosen.” Captions on the teaser poster and in the teaser trailer states “Everything collapsed except our apartment.”

“Concrete Utopia” is now set for release August, 2023.

Cha Eun-Woo cast in drama “Wonderful World”

Cha Eun-Woo is cast in drama series “Wonderful World” starring Kim Nam-Joo. In the drama series which is setup as an emotional healing thriller, Cha Eun-Woo will play Kwon Sun-Yool. He is a mysterious figure. He dropped out of medical school and chose to live a rough life. He is also in deep grief from a sense of loss. He meets Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) and they help to heal other other’s wound. Actor Kim Kang-Woo is also considering an offer to play a role in the drama series.

“Wonderful World” will first air sometime in the first half of 2024 in South Korea.
