Han Ye-Seul and Sung Joon cast in JTBC drama series “Madame Antoine”

Actress Han Ye-Seul and actor Sung Joon are now cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “Madame Antoine.” The drama series is scripted by Hong Jin-Ah (“The King 2hearts“/”Beethoven Virus“) and directed by Kim Yun-Cheol (“Can We Love“/”Can We Get Married?“).

In the romantic-comedy drama series “Madame Antoine,” Han Ye-Seul will play famous fortune teller Ko Hye-Rim. Although she is intelligent and able to use her senses to make deductions from people’s stories, she is a fake. She goes by the name Madame Antoine and claims she is spiritually connected to Marie Antoinette. Meanwhile, Sung Joon plays psychotherapist Choi Soo-Hyun. He doesn’t believe in true love and sets out to conduct a project to prove that. Fortune teller Ko Kye-Rim takes part in his test. The name of his treatment center also happens to be “Madame Antoine.”

“Madame Antoine” first airs November 27, 2015 in South Korea.

First still image of So Ji-Sub in KBS2 drama series “Oh My Venus”

Here’s the first still images of actor So Ji-Sub in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Oh My Venus” also starring Shin Min-A.

The still images of So Ji-Sub are from his first day of filming for the drama series which took place October 19, 2015 at a Korean restaurant in Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. In drama series “Oh My Venus,” he plays Kim Young-Ho. His character possesses the type of personality where he can’t ignore the sick or help others in dangerous situations. He works as a personal trainer and is the hidden successor to the medical corporation Gahong.

“Oh My Venus” first airs November 16, 2015 in South Korea.

Ko Hyun-Jung, Shin Sung-Woo, Zo In-Sung & Lee Kwang-Soo cast in tvN drama series “Dear My Friends”

Actress Ko Hyun-Jung & actor Shin Sung-Woo are now cast for lead characters in upcoming tvN drama series “Dear My Friends.” Also cast in special guest appearance roles are actors Zo In-Sung, Lee Kwang-Soo and Sung-Dong-Il. The three special guest appearance actors will all play important characters in the drama series and they previously worked with screenwriter No Hee-Kyung in 2014 SBS drama series “It’s Ok, This is Love.”

“Dear My Friends” first airs May, 2016 in South Korea.

Son Soo-Hyun cast in SBS drama special “Puck!”

Actress Son Soo-Hyun is cast in upcoming SBS drama special “Puck!” starring Lee Kwang-Soo. In drama special “Puck!,” Son Soo-Hyun will play Nam Sung-Sil. Her character is the manager of a ice hockey team. She also has a temperament where she despises injustice.

Filming for “Puck!” begins October 28, 2015 and the drama special will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

First still images of Shin Min-A in KBS2 drama “Oh My Venus”

Here’s the first still images of actress Shin Min-A in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Oh My Venus” also starring So Ji-Su.

The still images are from Shin Min-A first day of filming for the drama series. Her first day of filming took place October 17, 2015 at a bus stop around a botanical garden in Namsan, Seoul. The scene in the still image has Kang Joo-Eun (Shin Min-A) in her high school days.

Park Min-Young cast in SBS drama “Remember”

Actress Park Min-Young is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Remember” which has already cast Yoo Seung-Ho in the lead male role. Also cast in the drama series is actor Park Sung-Woong.

In drama series “Remember,” Park Min-Young plays Lee In-A. Her character has a bright and positive personality. While thinking about quitting her studies of law at a university, she sees Jin-Woo’s (Yoo Seung-Ho) father get falsely accused of murder. This becomes a turning point in her life. She eventually becomes a lawyer and helps Jin-Woo, whom she has known since they were young, prove his father’s innocence.

“Remember” first airs this December in South Korea.

MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” to air March or April 2016

According to MBC, upcoming drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black,” starring Lee Jin-Wook, Moon Chae-Won, Song Jae-Rim & Kim Kang-Woo, will begin to air in either March or early April, 2016. “Goodbye Mr. Black” is based on comic “Goodbye Mr. Black” by Hwang Mi-Na which is itself inspired by French author Alexandre Dumas’s novel “The Count of Monte Cristo.”  “Goodbye Mr. Black” will air Wednesday and Thursday at 10PM. The MBC drama series preceding “Goodbye Mr. Black” has not yet been announced.

Cho Hye-Jung cast in MBC every1 drama series “Imaginary Cat”

Actress Cho Hye-Jung is cast in upcoming MBC every1 drama series “Imaginary Cat” starring Yoo Seung-Ho. Drama series is based on webcomic “Sangsanggoyangi” by Kim Gyung.

In drama series “Imaginary Cat,” Cho Hye-Jung will play Oh Na-Woo. When her character was young, she lost her cat. Due to longing and guilt over her lost cat, Oh Na-Woo now takes care of street cats. She has a crush on Hyun Jong-Hyun (Yoo Seung-Ho).

“Imaginary Cat” first airs sometime this November in South Korea.
