Teaser poster and release date set for Channel A drama series “My Lovely Journey” starring Gong Seung-Yeon, Yu Jun-Sang, & Kim Jae-Young. Drama series is based on 2021 Japanese novel “Oka no Ue no Kenjin Tabiya Okaeri” by Maha Harada. Story for “My Lovely Journey” revolves around a former idol group member who now works as a travel reporter (Gong Seung-Yeon). Caption on the teaser poster states “I travel for you, who can’t leave.”

“My Lovely Journey” will first air August, 2025 in Japan.

Main cast announced for Netflix drama “Notes from the Last Row”

Choi Min-Sik, Choi Hyun-Wook, Heo Jun-Ho, Kim Yunjin, & Jin Kyung are cast in Netflix drama series “Notes from the Last Row.” Drama series is based on 2006 Spanish play “El chico de la última fila” (“The Boy in the Last Row”). In the drama series, Choi Min-Sik will play Korean literature professor Heo Mun-Ho. He holds an inferiority complex about his failure to become a successful writer. Choi Hyun-Wook will play university student Lee Kang. He is an engineering student, who wows Heo Mun-Ho with his excellent writing skills. An obsession over the student’s writing soon comes about.

Bae Suzy & Kim Sun-Ho are cast in Disney+ drama “Delusion”

Bae Suzy & Kim Sun-Ho are cast in Disney+ drama series “Delusion.” Drama series is based on webcomic “Hyunhok” by Hongjacga and directed by Han Jae-Rim (“Emergency Declaration“). For Bae Suzy and Kim Sun-Ho they work together again after having starred in 2020 tvN drama series “Start-Up.” In “Delusion,” Bae Suzy will play mysterious Song Jeong-Hwa. She is the owner of a hotel and has not stepped out of her hotel in more than 50 years. Kim Sun-Ho will play unknown painter Yoon Yi-Ho. He is commissioned to paint Song Jeong-Hwa’s portrait. When he meets her, he is surprised that she has the appearance of a young woman.

“Delusion” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Ryu Jun-Yeol and Sul Kyung-Gu cast in Netflix drama “The Rat”

Ryu Jun-Yeol and Sul Kyung-Gu are cast in Netflix drama series “The Rat” (working title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Deuljwee” by Ludovico and directed by Kim Hong-Sun (“Dear Hongrang“). In the thriller drama series, Ryu Jun-Yeol will play novelist and social recluse Mun-Jae. When he is unable to unlock his cellphone, he realizes that someone known as Rat has stolen everything from him. Sul Kyung-Gu will play loan shark and private detective No-Ja. Mun-Jae actually borrowed money from him 3 years and disappeared, but he now turns No-Ja to help him find Rat. This is the first time Ryu Jun-Yeol and Sul Kyung-Gu will work together in their acting careers.
