Main trailer and poster added for movie “Kingdom 5” starring Kento Yamazaki. The film is based on manga series “Kingdom” by Yasuhisa Hara and is the fifth installment in the “Kingdom” franchise that started with 2019 movie “Kingdom.” Story for “Kingdom 5” takes place 3 years after losing Ohki (Takao Osawa) in the previous movie “Kingdom: Return of the Great General.” Shin (Kento Yamazaki) has now grown much stronger and he has been promoted as commander of a unit consisting of 1,000 soldiers. The moment he sets his goal to become a grand general, an allied army in total of 500,000 soldiers descend upon Qin.
“Kingdom 5” will be released July 17, 2026 in Japan.
