Kasumi Arimura, Haru Kuroki, and Sara Minami are cast in movie “Magical Secret Tour.” The film is co-written and directed by Chihiro Amano (“Mrs. Noisy“). Story for the movie will revolve around three women who meet by chance in Singapore. They are all experiencing financial troubles and they become involved in a scheme to smuggle gold bars. The film is inspired by a real life incident that occurred in 2017. Meanwhile, the first trailer has been added on AsianWiki.
“Magical Secret Tour” will be released June 19, 2026 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Wakako (Kasumi Arimura) is the mother of two children. One day, she suddenly learns that her husband was involved in an embezzlement scheme and he was dismissed from work. Kiyoe (Haru Kuroki) is a researcher, who is burdened with 6 million yen in debt. Mayu (Sara Minami) is single and pregnant, but she doesn’t have any savings at all. These 3 women happen to meet in Singapore by chance. To escape from their difficult situations, they, who look like ordinary women, become involved in a gold smuggling operation. Through their crime, they are able to escape their current circumstances. They share their crime as a secret, but cracks begin to appear in half a year.
