First teaser trailer added for movie “Colony” starring Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-Hwan, Ji Chang-Wook, Shin Hyun-Bin, Kim Shin-Rok, and Ko Soo. The action thriller movie is directed by Yeon Sang-Ho (“Train To Busan“) and is set in a building that is sealed off due to a mutating virus that is unleashed. The virus causes its victims to transform in unpredictable ways. The first teaser trailer begins with Gianna Jun stating “Those guys, at first they walk on all fours and then on two legs.” This is followed by (0:07) Ji Chang-Wook “What?, Are those guys imitating us?,” (0:14) Gianna Jun “It seems like they’re evolving,” (0:26) Koo Kyo-Hwan “They’re taking humans to the next level.” Caption in the teaser trailer states “The birth of a new species.”
“Colony” will be released sometime this year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: People, including Biotechnologist Kwon Se-Jeong (Gianna Jun), Choi Hyun-Seok (Ji Chang-Wook), Kong Seol-Hee (Shin Hyun-Bin), Choi Hyun-Hee (Kim Shin-Rok) and Han Kyu-Seong (Ko Soo), are trapped inside a building that is sealed off due to an unidentified infection. They fight against these infected people who are evolving in unpredictable forms.
