Shotaro Mamiya is cast in TBS drama series “Ignite.” The drama series features an original screenplay about an unconventional law firm in Tokyo. Shotaro Mamiya will play Ryo Uzaki. After having a career change, he unsuccessfully tries to find a law firm to hire. Then he finds Peace Law Office. The law firm seeks out clients by going to places with trouble and igniting people to sue.
“Ignite” will first air April, 2025 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Ryo Uzaki (Shotaro Mamiya) lost his father 5 years ago in an accident. Due to his father’s death, Ryo Uzaki decided to become a lawyer to pursue justice. He quit his job as a salaryman and studied hard for the bar exam. After finally passing his exam, he tried to find a job at a law firm, but it’s not so easy. While pursuing his law career, he also works part-time work to make ends meet. He finally lands a job at Peace Law Office. He believes he can finally become a full-fledged lawyer, but Peace Law Office is different than what Ryo Uzaki envisions. The company is an office of lawless lawyers. They don’t wait for clients. Instead, they go into places with conflict and incite people to sue.
