Toshiaki Karasawa is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Private Banker.” The suspense-financial drama series is directed by Masaki Nishiura (“Code Blue“) and scripted by Hiroyuki Komine (“The Expert of Changing Jobs“). For “Private Banker,” Toshiaki Karasawa will play main character Koichi Anno. He is a private banker for high net worth clients. He goes to great lengths to protect his clients’ assets, including solving their personal problems.
“Private Banker” will first air January 9, 2025 in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Thursday 9PM time slot after “The Travel Nurse“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Koichi Anno (Toshiaki Karasawa) is a private banker who specializes in asset management for high net worth clients. With his overwhelming financial knowledge and his broad connections, he does anything to protect the assets of his clients including dealing with their personal matters. Whenever he faces his clients’ problems, he solves them no matter the obstacles. One day, he receives a request from a company president with 700 billion yen in assets.
