Koki Tanaka and Hideya Tawada are cast in TV Asahi live-action drama series “Sugar Dog Life.” The drama series is based on BL manga “Sugar Dog Life” by Yoriko. Story for “Sugar Dog Life” will revolve around a convenience store part time worker played by Koki Tanaka and a police officer played by Hideya Tawada. They meet through a misunderstanding.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Isumi Sakuraba (Koki Tanaka) is a university student with a baby face and short stature. His speciality is cooking. Due to his baby face, he is mistaken for a minor and almost taken to jail by Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa (Hideya Tawada). Isumi Sakuraba shows his ID to him to prove his age and clear up the misunderstanding. Later, Isumi Sakuraba meets Police Officer Kyosuke Amasawa again in front of the convenience store where he works as a part-timer. Kyosuke Amasawa becomes a regular at the convenience store. Whenever he sees Isumi Sakuraba at the store, he asks for recommendations on what to eat for a midnight snack. They become familiar with each other. One day, Isumi Sakuraba begins to worry about Kyosuke Amasawa’s eating habits and blurts out “Shall I go to your home and make you some food?”
