Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Boku ga Ikiteru, Futatsu no Sekai” starring Ryo Yoshizawa. The film, directed by Mipo O (“The Light Shines Only There“), follows a young man Dai Igarashi, who acts as an interpreter of his deaf mom, but tries to leave his small town. The film is also based on nonfiction novel “Ro no Ryoshin kara Umareta Boku ga Kikoeru Sekai to Kikoenai Sekai wo Ikikishite Kangaeta 30 no Koto” by Dai Igarashi.
“Boku ga Ikiteru, Futatsu no Sekai” will be released September, 2024 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Dai Igarashi (Ryo Yoshizawa) was born to deaf parents in a small port town in Miyagi prefecture and he grew up being loved by his parents. Since he was little, he acted as an interpreter for his mother. This was a normal and enjoyable part of his daily life, but he gradually became embarrassed and irritated by people considering him special. He even grew to dislike his mother’s cheerfulness. At the age of 20, he leaves for Tokyo to escape … but.
