Trailer and poster added for live-action film “Teasing Master Takagi-san” starring Mei Nagano and Fumiya Takahashi. Movie is based on manga series “Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san” by Soichiro Yamamoto and directed by Rikiya Imaizumi (“Little Nights, Little Love“). Story in the live-action film is set 10 years after the two main characters were middle school students. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Haruka” by singer Aimer. The theme song plays during the main trailer. Young actors Tamaki Shiratori and Jun Saito are also cast to play supporting characters in the movie.
“Teasing Master Takagi-san” will be released May 31, 2024 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: 10 years after her middle school days and now a full grown woman, Takagi-san (Mei Nagano) returns to the middle school where she graduated from as a trainee trainer. There, she meets Nishikata (Fumiya Takahashi) who was one of her middle school classmates and he was frequently teased by her. Now, Nishikata works as a PE teacher at the same school.
