Mio Imada is cast in NTV drama series “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out.” The drama series is a remake of popular 2014 NTV drama series “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out” starring Anne Watanabe and based off novels “Hanasaki Mai ga Damatte Inai” & “Fushoji” by Jun Ikeido. For the 2024 version of “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out,” Mio Imada will play bank employee Mai Hanasaki. She gets transferred from a teller position to a HQ position overseeing local branch offices.
“Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out” will first air April 13, 2024 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Mai Hanasaki (Mio Imada) works as a teller for a branch of Tokyo Daiichi Bank. Suddenly, she gets transferred to the Tokyo Daiichi Bank’s headquarter office. Her job is to fix problems that arise at its various local branch offices. Mai Hanasaki has the type of personality where, if she believes she is right, she cannot keep quiet about it or give up. At her new department, she sees many mistakes that takes place inside the bank, which she never noticed before.
