Character posters and release date set for mystery-horror film “Exhuma” starring Choi Min-Sik, Kim Go-Eun, Yu Hae-Jin, & Lee Do-Hyun. Movie is directed and scripted by Jang Jae-Hyun (“Svaha: The Sixth Finger“). The character posters are of Choi Min-Sik as Feng Shui Expert Sang-Deok, Kim Go-Eun as Shaman Hwa-Rim, Yu Hae-Jin as Undertaker Young-Geun, & Lee Do-Hyun as Shaman Bong-Gil. Captions on all the poster states “Something unsettling comes out.”
“Exhuma” will be released February 22, 2024 in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: A wealthy family in Los Angeles experiences a series of bizarre supernatural events. The family contacts famous young shamans Hwa-Rim (Kim Go-Eun) and Bong-Gil (Lee Do-Hyun). After investigating, Hwa-Rim realizes that these events are related to the family’s ancestor. Hwa-Rim asks Feng Shui export Sang-Deok (Choi Min-Sik) and undertaker Young-Geun (Yu Hae-Jin) for help. They find the family’s ancestor’s grave in a remote South Korean village and dig up the grave.
