Teaser trailer and posters added for movie “Dead Man” starring Cho Jin-Woong, Kim Hee-Ae, & Lee Soo-Kyung. The teaser trailer begins with an anonymous voice stating “Died on April 7, 2019. You died, but you are telling me that you actually have never been dead.” In the film, Cho Jin-Woong plays Lee Man-Jae. Through circumstances, he is forced to fake his death.
“Dead Man” will be released February 7, 2024.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Lee Man-Jae (Cho Jin-Woong) makes a living by lending his name to businesses as a figurehead. One day, he lets a business use his name for 5 million won ($4,000 USD). But, Lee Man-Jae is soon falsely accused of embezzling 100 billion won ($75 million USD) and forced to fake his death in South Korea. Actually, he is locked up in prison in China. With help from a political consultant, Mrs. Sim (Kim Hee-Ae), he is able to get out of prison and return to South Korea. He tries to find the person who turned him into a dead man. During his search, he meets Gong Hee-Joo (Lee Soo-Kyung) who is searching for the person who killed her father.
