Trailer and poster added for movie “Amalock” starring Noriko Eguchi, Ayami Nakajo, and Tsurube Shofukutei. The film revolves around 39-year-old Yuko (Noriko Eguchi) who lives with her 65-year-old father Ryutaro (Tsurube Shofukutei). Yuko’s life is upended when her father announces that he will get remarried and his fiance is 20-year-old Saki (Ayami Nakajo).
“Amalock” will be released April 19, 2024 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yuko (Noriko Eguchi) is 39-years-old and lives in Amagasaki. She lost her job due to unreasonable restructuring by her company and has not worked since then. She lives with her 65-year-old father Ryutaro (Tsurube Shofukutei). Ryutaro runs a small factory. One day, Ryutaro suddenly tells Yuko that he is going to remarry. He then brings over 20-year-old Saki (Ayami Nakajo) and they begin to live together. Saki dreams of having a happy family, but Yuko is embarrassed with having a 20-year-old stepmother and can’t accept Saki as part of her family.
