Filming for movie “Retrial,” starring Jung Woo & Kang Ha-Neul, began July 17, 2016. The first scene filmed involved actor Jung Woo. Story for the film is based on a true story involving a 15 year old boy who confessed to the murder of a cab driver after police coerced a confession from him. He spent 10 years in jail. Jung-Woo will play an attorney that defends the young man and Kang Ha-Neul will play the man falsely accused of murder.
“Retrial” will open sometime during the first half of 2017 in South Korea.
