Haruka Fukuhara and Koshi Mizukami are cast in movie “I Wish I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where That Flower Blooms.” The movie is based on 2016 novel “Ano Hana ga Saku Oka de, Kimi to mata Deaetara” by Natsue Shiomi. For the movie, Haruka Fukuhara will play high school student Yuri. She somehow travels from the present day to 1945 and meets a kamikaze pilot played by Koshi Mizukami.
“I Wish I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where That Flower Blooms” will be released December 8, 2023 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yuri (Haruka Fukuhara) is a high school student in the present day. She isn’t happy with her life at home or school. One day, she has an argument with her mother and runs away from home. Somehow, when Yuri later opens her eyes, she realizes that she is in the year 1945. She happens to meet Akira (Koshi Mizukami). He is a pilot for a kamikaze unit in the military.
