Eiji Akaso is cast for the lead role in NTV live-action drama series “Turn To Me Mukai-kun.” The drama series is based on manga manga series “Kocchi Muite yo Mukai-kun” by Yoko Nemu. In the drama series, Eiji Akaso will play Satoru Mukai. After 10 years of being single, he decides that he wants to find love. It’s not easy for him though.
“Turn To Me Mukai-kun” first airs July, 2023 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Wednesday 10PM time slot after “Copy That?“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Satoru Mukai (Eiji Akaso) is single and 33 years old. He works for a t-shirt manufacturer in Tokyo. He is a nice guy and does his job well. His co-workers like him. Unfortunately, Satoru Muka hasn’t been in a romantic relationship for 10 years. He suddenly realizes that, around him, he is the only single person. His friend has recently become a father and his younger sister has gotten married. Satoru Mukai wants to have a romantic relationship and looks to find the right person for him. He believes it won’t be easy for him, because he knows women who are friends with him, but they aren’t available for romantic relationships. He asks himself the reason for that and begins to find errors when he makes romantic relationships.
