Tomoya Nakamura is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Hayabusa Syobodan.” The drama series is based on 2022 novel “Hayabusa Syobodan” by Jun Ikeido (“Naoki Hanzawa“). Tomoya Nakamura will play main character Taro Mima. He works as a writer and decides to live in the house his father left for him in a mountain village. There, he becomes involved with the volunteer fire department.
“Hayabusa Syobodan” will first air July, 2023 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Taro Mima (Tomoya Nakamura) is a writer of mystery books. He was a popular writer at one point, but not anymore. His confidence is now shot and he has trouble writing. One day, he visits his house in Hayabusa, which is a mountain village. He inherited the house from his late father and has left the house abandoned. But, Taro Mima becomes captivated by the area’s environment and decides to live there. He begins his new life in Hayabusa.
One day, he participates in a drinking party and there he meets a bunch of men. They recommend to Taro Mima that he should join the volunteer fire department. At that time, he turns down their recommendation. Right after that, a fire breaks out in the Hayabusa area and the members of the volunteer fire department try to desperately put down the fire. Taro Mima sees what is happening and decides to join the volunteer fire department. According to the firefighters, the fire is the third one in the Hayabusa area this year and they suspect a serial arson case. An arsonist may lurk somewhere in Hayabusa.
