Shihori Kanjiya and Masato Wada are cast in movie “Orange Lamp.” The movie is based on the true story of Tomofumi Tanno. In 2013, Tomofumi Tanno was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 39. Movie will be directed by Mitsuhiro Mihara (“Flavor of Happiness“). For “Orange Lamp,” Masato Wada will play Koichi Tadano. He receives the devastating news that he has early-onset dementia. Shihori Kanjiya will play Mao Tadano. She is married to Koichi Tadano.
“Orange Lamp” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Koichi Tadano (Masato Wada) is a car dealer with a good sales history. He is married to Mao Tadano (Shihori Kanjiya) and they have two daughters. Koichi Tadano enjoys a good relationship with his family as a father. Besides being busy all the time, his life goes well. One day, Koichi Tadano realizes that he has forgotten names of people he should know like his customers and co-workers. Something feels off to him and he goes to the hospital to take a test. The doctor informs Koichi Tadano that has early-onset dementia.
